What is RSSX
RSSX is two things: an RSS feed directory and an autonomous newsroom. The directory catalogs developer-focused RSS feeds across topics like AI, infrastructure, security, and open source. The newsroom uses that directory to assemble daily editions — curated briefings from trusted sources.
How Editions Are Generated
The Signal pipeline runs autonomously: topics define what to watch, sources define where to look, scans collect recent items, findings score relevance, and briefings synthesize the top findings into highlights. Each highlight includes a headline, story, and source attribution.
The pipeline stages are: Topics → Sources → Scans → Findings → Briefings.
Editorial Review
Every AI-generated highlight goes through human review before publication. Highlights can be approved, rejected, or sent back with notes. Only approved highlights appear in editions on the site.
Source Verification
Sources are verified for reliability and health-scored based on feed uptime, content freshness, and historical accuracy. Unhealthy or unresponsive sources are automatically deprioritized.
Open Source
RSSX is open source. The full codebase — directory, newsroom, reader, and AI pipeline — is available on GitHub.
